Saying Sorry

I really want William to grow up knowing the value of good communication. This is a skill that I think we all find difficult at times, especially when in a situation where we are uncomfortable or defensive. I came across a fantastic blog post by Joellen at cuppacocoa on saying sorry. This is a lesson I will take with me in my life and will work to pass onto Bean. Please take the time to read her post, such a simple idea that she articulates so well.

(Disclaimer – yes we both appear to have the same great taste in themes!)

we have a walker!

Well the Bean is now super mobile! He took his first steps a couple of weeks ago and has been non stop since. I am having a hard time keeping up. We got his first pair of shoes (unfortunately a poor experience at the shoe shop, I will follow that story up with a proper blog post soon!)

In fact I have several blog posts nearly ready to go but dont seem to be able to find the time to finish them now I am constantly running around after the little bean!

Now that he is walking it means we can actually go out to the park, this has been helped this week with some warmer weather so we headed off to the park and little Bean got to play on the slide! He loved it as you can see.

What do you mean it is for sliding down, I want to climb up!
