Mamainpink is the mummy incarnation of Lindyinpink. I am a pink haired, swing dancing Brit living in Montreal. I have a strong social conscience and believe that one voice can make a difference (I don’t care how naive that sounds)

I try my best to recognise my own privileges. I dislike how gender stereotypes are being forced on our children by society. I believe that breastfeeding is important and can look different in every family. I believe that formula feeding is not ‘evil’ and every parent is making the best decisions they can with the information and support that they have. I believe that the breastfeeding vs. formula feeding bullshit is just that, bullshit. It is not a contest, we should be supporting each other. The same goes for the stay at home mom vs. the working mom.
